Pierce's Dining Hall

Just as in the other dining halls, each house has its own table or tables. This feature is nice because there is always someone that you know with whom you can eat.

Pierce has some foods which are always offered, and other rotating entrees. There is an amazing salad bar that spans almost a whole wall with lettuce, spinach, an assortment of vegetables and other salad fixings, as well as dressings. There are always five or six different types of cereal. Soup, bread, and sandwich fixings are also a constant. There is a grill where you can get freshly prepared omelets, hamburgers, hot dogs, and French fries. An Asian bar offers different dishes daily and also offers fresh stir fry with a variety of different vegetables. There are also always many different vegetarian and vegan options offered which, according to the vegetarians who eat at Pierce, are varied and good. There are home-style meals offered which usually include mashed potatoes and some kind of meat. Another added bonus of Pierce is the presence of both Coke and Pepsi products, juices, and water.

"Wednesdays are awesome because they have corned beef and now they have waffles with all sorts of toppings on them."

"One good thing is that I have completely avoided gaining the 'freshman fifteen'."

"The tortilla chicken (a seasoned, breaded chicken dish, served with cilantro sauce) is awesome, as is the staff. They are always energetic and often sing along to popular music that is playing on the radio."
