The University House System says:
Composed of seven 4- and 5-story houses, connected contiguously around a grassy courtyard. This neo-Gothic building, also known to students as "B-J," houses all four classes with about 120 spaces for first-year students. All houses are co-ed; in some houses, single-sex floors are available. The dorm includes one of the three campus residential dining halls, three large common lounges, a television room, a computer lab, an outdoor recreation area, a basement recreation room with ping-pong and pool tables, and a late night student-run snack shop. Each house has a small house lounge. The neighboring Law Library is a favorite study spot for BJ residents.
